NEW DELHI: Former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh today met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and held talks with him on the back of political developments in Punjab for several days. Navjot Singh Sidhu had resigned from his post as the President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee two days ago. His visit has caused great curiosity.
Amarinder Singh had resigned as Punjab Chief Minister on September 18. It is in this backdrop that Charan Jit Singh Channi has taken over as the new Chief Minister.
