Mandya Sep 30: The Vijaya Times cover story team has conducted an investigation into the illegality of the JK Organics Company in Madurai and allegedly defrauding farmers in the name of Organic. Based on this information, Agriculture Department officials raided JK Organics and seized more than 40 lakhs worth of fertilizers.
The owner of JK Organics was licensed by the Department of Agriculture on September 3 for making organic fertilizer. But in this unit, chemical fertilizers such as urea, potash, dolomite, gypsum, and complex fertilizers were illegally stored. In addition, there was no license for fertilizer storage and sale. And defrauding farmers in the name of organic fertilizer. A case has been registered at Maddur police station.
