Lorry strike from November 15 demanding reduction in petrol price

The oil price hike is causing huge losses to truck owners and drivers. The State Lorry Owners Association has appealed to the government to press for a reduction in the price of oil and indirectly warned the government to strike if the price of oil is not reduced.

Crude oil prices are skyrocketing day by day. The rise in petrol and diesel prices is causing the general public to fear. The oil price hike is causing huge losses to truck owners and drivers. The State Lorry Owners Association has appealed to the government to press for a reduction in the price of oil and indirectly warned the government to strike if the price of oil is not reduced.

Petrol and diesel prices are shifting away from the hands of the general public. Already over a century petrol diesel prices are forging. The oil price hike has now come down to the state's largest trucking business. It was in this context that the State Lorry Association held a consultation program at a private hotel in Chamarajapet today. Many lorry businessmen in the state have taken part and decided to give a first step warning to the government. That is, until November 5, the deadline for oil prices to drop, the government is scheduled to go on a full-time strike from November 15 if it does not stagnate.

10 Rs The tax deduction truck owner, driver's demands !

Speaking to the media, the president of the lorry owners association Shanmugappa said the government was outraged. It is difficult for the masses to make a living. Diesel prices are increasing day by day. The government should reduce the tax on diesel by Rs 10 per liter. Permit must be given until the end of January. Unloading is becoming quite a problem for truck drivers. Both the RTO and the police have expressed their displeasure over the harassment.

November was up to the deadline of November 15, from full-time to strike !

The trucking industry has already been ravaged by corona strikes. The industry is still recovering from the fact that businesses are in debt. The trucking sector, like many other sectors, is now in the midst of a battle against rising oil prices. The government has given the November 5 deadline for a 10-rupee tax cut from the current oil price. Larry businessmen have decided to go on strike if the government does not bother. If the lorry sector goes on a full-scale strike, people's day-to-day use and other items will be damaged.
