Gandhi also wrote about childhood in his autobiography, only thirty pages.

Even though I read the book "The Story of Bapu Gandhi Bapu Gandhi" written by him, I wanted to make a film about Gandhi's childhood.

When Gandhi was Mohanadasa, that is to say, only about 7 to 14 years of life are in our picture.

The film is shot in Rajkot, Porbandar, Gujarat. It is special that Gandhi was shot in the house where he was born.

Our film is being released in over a hundred cinemas on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. The film is being produced in Kannada, Hindi and English.

My acting "Mohanadasa" is being released as the first film when the government has allowed it to fill in hundreds of theaters. I played the role of Mohanadasa's mother, ”said senior actress Shruti.
