PM Modi is the one who has given India a further defense force

Prime Minister Modi said that for the first time since independence, there have been many major reforms in the defense sector, with the introspective India campaign aiming to make India the world's largest military power and the development of modern military industry in India.New Delhi :  Prime Minister Narendra Modi today dedicated seven new defense companies to the nation. These seven companies are Munitions India Limited, Armored Vehicles Nigam Limited, Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited, Troop Comforts Limited, Yantra India Limited, India Optel Limited and Gliders India Limited.

Addressing the program via video conference, Modi said that 41 Ordinance factories are being transformed into seven corporate houses in order to improve India's self-reliance and defense preparedness. He said the government and the public sector had worked hand in glove with the 'nation-state' to stimulate India's economy and reach new heights.

There has been a lack of innovation in India's defense sector since independence, with these seven new companies leading the government's efforts in defense and development.
