Mangalore: Dalit organizations have alleged that Narayana Rai, the leader of the RSS, was responsible for the rape of a minor girl belonging to the Dalit community and the birth of her child in Putur Taluk. A press conference was held at the Press Club of the city by the Coordinating Committee of Dalit Organizations and the victim girl and her parents were present.

The girl was working on a farm belonging to Narayana Rai, who raped the girl's helplessness and raped her. The girl became pregnant and gave birth to a baby at Ladygoshan Hospital in Mangalore on September 4. Although the complaint was lodged at the Puttur Revenue Station, the police had distorted the case. The police have named Pramod, a young man, to influence the accused. "The police have done this to keep the accused Narayana Rai's name out of the case," said the committee leader Ananda Belthare.
