Negotiations for free trade with India and Israel soon

 


Foreign Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar, who briefed the media after talks with Israeli Foreign Minister Yar Lapid, said the talks will begin in November and hope to end by June next year.

New Delhi : India and Israel have agreed to resume talks on a free trade agreement next month.

Both ministers discussed a wide range of regional and global issues. Kovid agreed in principle to the mutual recognition of vaccine certification.

Dr. Jaishankar welcomed Israel as a new member of the International Solar Union. Jaishankar paid tribute to the victims of the massacre at Yad Vashem. He said the monument bears witness to human fortitude and strengthens the resolve to fight evil. He visited the Kadawambagam Synagogue at the Israel Museum, where he met the youngest members of the Kochini-Jewish community
