NIA attack on Naxal background

 NIA officials raided the local police without informing them. Inspections were conducted in Coimbatore, Theni, Ramanathapuram, Salem, Kanyakumari and Krishnagiri districts of Tamil Nadu. Checked in Wayanad, Thrissur and Kannur districts of Kerala.
Bangalore: A National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided more than 20 states in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, including Shimoga.

On Tuesday, NIA officials raided some parts of Sringeri, Udupi district, Karkala and Shimoga in Chikkamagaluru district. Recently, a satellite phone call was detected and the Naxal activity in the Western Ghats was revealed.

Attack without informing local police:

NIA officials raided the local police without informing them. Inspections were conducted in Coimbatore, Theni, Ramanathapuram, Salem, Kanyakumari and Krishnagiri districts of Tamil Nadu. Checked in Wayanad, Thrissur and Kannur districts of Kerala.

At the end of September 2016, the location of the Left Front Police Station in Malappuram district of Kerala was identified as a training ground to reinforce the Naxal (CPI Maoist) movement. It was thought to provide arms use training in the camp. A case has been registered at the Lekkadar police station and five have been arrested. He then took over the investigation of the NIA case and filed a separate FIR. It was revealed that there were still 20 persons involved in the case. BJP leader Karnataka Naxal movement The names of Krishnamurthy and Vikram Gowda were on the list. So it is learned that Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru and Udupi district have been inspected. In addition, Anodra is investigating whether there is a link between the satellite phone call and the Naxal movement
