Hemant, an engineering student at a private technical college in Hassan, committed suicide. The deceased is said to be the son of a teacher from the Hiriyal village of Arasikere taluk in Hassan district.

The young man said in the video that no one is adequately self-sufficient in the current education system, and that if the education system changes, everything will be okay.
The young man said that after his death the body should be donated to those in need and the funeral should be attended by ministers, ministers of education and funeral education.
