Bengaluru A12: Girishma Naika, a student of Moodubidri Alwas Residential School, became the first state to be elected this year. The girl's wish was given by the school authorities, which gave the then education ministers time to respond and write the test, which has now raised the eyebrows.

Grishma Nai of Koratagere Taluk in Tumkur district was studying at the Alvas Vidyalaya School, Moodabidre. Girishma, who scored 96 per cent in Class 9, was ready for the Essence Test. However, the school line was not allowed to write the EssenceCell test this time as the housing and lunch fees had not been paid to the school peers.
