Worse A13 : An incident took place in a poor taluk in Chikkamagaluru district when a sick man was taken to a hospital on the shoulder about 4 km away.
From Karakkodu village in poor Taluk, the old age of about four kilometers was carried to the hospital by a mask. The scene was so icy that relatives carried the elderly to the hospital amidst heavy rains in the hillside.
Bike ambulances are not on this route, and everyone is walking along the sidewalk, with no road connectivity for people in this area for nearly 70 years. A local said that even appealing to the people's representatives was not of any benefit.
There are children who go to school in this village, elderly elderly people, parents are required to accompany their children to drop them off to school, home supplies are needed elsewhere and the people are distressed without adequate road access.
